Psychedelic Medicine Seminar (October 14: Sold Out)

Michael Coupland is a Registered Psychologist and Dana Coupland is a Registered Nurse with 40+ years experience treating patients and managing occupational mental health programs for  first responder, health care, aviation, education, retail and banking sectors.   Unfortunately, some people do not respond to traditional mental health treatment of psychotherapy and/or medication and suffer long term disabling conditions.  However, in recent years clinical trials and anecdotal evidence of naturalistic use of psychedelics demonstrate rapid treatment gains to those individuals. This seminar will present the evidence and neuroscience of psychedelic medicine, and outline the treatment pathways available within the regulatory framework as it currently exists.  Collaboration of the Salt Spring community of interested individuals is invited.
